I think I have a virus... PDF Print E-mail

"I have a virus" Is the most common phrase to explain nearly every computer problem. I have even heard of someone blaming a virus because her laptop would not turn on. Clearly, a lack of power to a machine is a hardware problem and not because of malicious software, but viruses are always to blame.

In reality, there are many things that can explain poor performance: Windows errors, software updates, hardware conflicts just to name a few. Also, there are a lot of nasty root-kits and other malware that are nearly uncleanable with even the best anti-virus software. This would akin to telling your doctor that since your back hurts "I think I have a cold "

Just to be sure that your computer is safe, use this online virus scanning software that will scan your computer for viruses for FREE. If you still are having trouble, then why don't you consider giving us a call and we can get you fixed up quick.

Kris »Just talk to Matt first! He will come to you! I know Google maps has him located in Westport, but Matt is very accomodating. I gave him my laptop Wednesday and it was ready Thursday night. We arranged a pick-up for Friday. He stuck by his ballpark estimate in price (which was an entirely fair estimate). Seriously, don't even consider anyone else. Friday, 18 March 2011 00:00
